		<description>I&#039;m of the opinion that if an artist is making their art to make money, they&#039;re in it for the wrong reason. The pay-to-play model encourages homogenization by creating an environment where the only art worth creating is art that is marketable to those with the fattest wallets; Typically the WORST people to be pushing the direction of art, in my experience.

Artists stop creating, and begin manufacturing &quot;commodities&quot; to be sold to &quot;consumers&quot;.

Free art (regardless of medium) is the only art worth anything at all. Everything else has been tainted by profit motive.</description>
