Abstract Expressionist Willem de Kooning original on display at The University of Montana.

An important work by Abstract Expressionist master Willem de Kooning is on display for public viewing at The University of Montana. Untitled I will be in the lobby of the President’s Office from now until February 8 in Main Hall.

The painting is the second de Kooning work and the sixth major art loan to the Montana Museum of Art & Culture from an anonymous private collector.

The president’s office lobby is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. For more information, call the Montana Museum of Art & Culture at 243-2019. Information also is online at The University’s Museum website.
